Pricing FAQ

Direct answers about Photo3D plans, credits, renewals, and what you are actually paying for on photo3d.org.

  1. 1

What does a photo3d.org plan cover?

It covers the hosted side of photo3d.org: sign-in, generation credits, saved task history, billing, and support. The 50+ browser tools stay free and never draw on those credits.

  2. 2

Do I need a paid plan to use Photo3D?

No. Browsing and the local tools cost nothing. A plan matters once you want credits for hosted image-to-3D runs, or you want your results kept in account history.

  3. 3

Which credit pack should I start with?

Start with the smallest one-time pack. Photo3D lanes cost between 40 and 800 credits per run, so a small pack is enough to find the lane that suits your images before you take on a monthly plan.

  4. 4

Do the free browser tools spend my credits?

No. Every local tool in the browser workbench runs without touching your Photo3D balance.

  5. 5

How do credits work across the different Photo3D lanes?

One Photo3D balance covers every image-to-3D lane and the small prompt helpers. Each lane shows its own price before you run it: a TripoSR draft costs 70 credits, a default pixel-aligned run costs 220, and a Meshy 6 pass costs 800, so a single run lands between 40 and 800 credits.

  6. 6

How long do purchased credits last, and what happens if a paid task fails?

Paid credits follow the validity printed on the pack you bought. The browser Seedream trial is separate and does not add account credits. If a paid task fails, the restored credits keep whatever validity they had when they were spent.

  7. 7

What makes an image-to-3D run cost more or less?

The price is shown before you generate. It moves with the lane you pick, the output resolution, texture size, mesh budget, decimation target, and the provider's own pricing rules.

  8. 8

Do prompt translation and auto-optimize consume credits?

Yes. Translate to English costs 1 credit and Auto-optimize costs 2 credits per successful request. If no usable result comes back, that attempt is not charged.

  9. 9

Can I cancel a subscription whenever I want?

Yes. Cancelling stops future renewals and you keep access through the period you already paid for, unless a refund is approved under the refund policy or required by law.

  10. 10

Who do I ask about billing or plan selection?

Email support@photo3d.org with the lanes or plans you are comparing. We can check your credit usage and resolve a billing problem from there.
