Is Free Image to 3D Model free?
Hosted generation costs credits. Browsing, the local browser tools, and the public queue on the home page are free, and the public queue needs no sign-up.
Are my files uploaded?
Yes for hosted generation: your source image is sent to the provider that runs the lane you picked. The local browser tools on this site never upload anything.
Which model lane should I start with?
Start with one low-cost draft lane to check your source image, then move to a higher-fidelity lane once the framing and silhouette look right.
What happens if a paid run fails?
Failed paid runs are reviewed and refunded under the published Refund Policy. Emailing support@photo3d.org with your task ID is the fastest route.
Do I need to install software?
No. Generation, preview, and export all run in the browser, and the GLB downloads like any other file.
Will the output keep every detail?
Reconstruction follows the source image. Thin parts, transparent edges, and hidden sides are the usual places where a GLB differs from the photo.
